William Warren

October 14, 1935 — June 4, 2021

Mr. William Lewis Warren of Summersville was born on October 14, 1935 to the late Willie L. and Elsie R. Stearman Warren. He departed this life on June 4, 2021 at his home having attained the age of 85 years, 7 months and 21 days.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summersville Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served in Abilene, Texas and Okinawa, Japan. He was the owner of the Summersville Feed Mill for 47 years.
He was a Kentucky Colonial and a former member of the William B. Allen Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed many activities such as golf, softball and horseback riding.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Lee Hads Warren on August 29, 2020, having united in marriage on June 27, 1958.
Survivors include three children: Dean and Ruth Warren of Summersville, Barbie and Eddie Milby of Summersville and Savonna Warren of Los Angeles, California; Two grandchildren: Ashley Milby and her fiance’ Josh Strain of Orlinda, Tennessee and Jared Milby and his fiance’ Ashley Bowles of Summersville; Two step grandchildren and their spouses: Stan and Morgan White and Sydnie and Keith Fields, all of Greensburg; Eight great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law: Donna and Everett McCubbin of Hudgins; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Shelby and LeEtta Warren of Lexington and Jerry and Karen Warren of Greensburg along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside services will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 at the Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville. Bro. Daniel Marcum will be officiating. Cowherd & Parrott Funeral home in Greensburg is in charge of the arrangements.

The family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, which can be made at the funeral home.
