Reva Nell Kessler Marcum of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, formerly of Hodgenville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Charles Lee Kessler and Elsie Simpson Kessler, was born on September 3, 1945 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville. She was 66 years, four months and 22 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Reva Jean and Scott Rapier of Greensburg; three sons: Jimmy Dean Adkins of Greensburg, Kenny Wayne Marcum and Jerry Lee Marcum both of Hodgenville; two grandchildren: Myrtle Hope Rapier and Scott Wesley Rapier both of Greensburg; two sisters: Lucille Mars of Greensburg and Adeana Wilson of Campbellsville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral services for Reva Nell Kessler Marcum will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville. Bro. Gordon Davis will be officiating.

Visitation is requested from 4 until 8 P.M., Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Saturday until time of the funeral service.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
