Mrs. Pauline Goff was born September 30, 1931 in Taylor County, KY to the late John Albert Beams and Lena Warren Beams. She departed this life Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at her home in Green County, having attained the age of eighty-three years, nine months and twenty-two days.
Mrs. Goff had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. She was a secretary for Goff Motor Company, Owner/operator of Goff Florist for 20 plus years, she was a ward clerk and later worked in the business office at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. She worked at Fort Knox in the supply department. She worked at The Tax House for 8 years. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Goff, two sons-in-law: Bill Karnes and Billy Campo and one sister: Rebecca Rogers.
She is survived by two daughters: Mary Jane Karnes of Vicksburg, Mississippi and Judy Goff of Greensburg, two grandchildren: Stephanie Bowles and Derek Karnes, five great grandchildren: Ross and Sara Milby, Dakota and Cierra Karnes and Destiny Bowles and one great-great grandchild: Madeline Milby
Funeral service for Mrs. Pauline Goff will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Clifton Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in the Green County Memory Garden in Summersville.
Friends of Mrs. Pauline Goff may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and after 7 a.m. Saturday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or for Gideon Bibles. These can be made at the funeral home.
