O B I T U A R Y

Mr. Jimmy Dean Adkins of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Reva Nell Kessler Adkins Marcum, was born on July 4, 1975 in Green County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Monday, September 3, 2012 in Hodgenville. He was 37 years, one month, and 30 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Faith Christian Church in Greensburg. He was also a former Certified Nursing Assistant for Golden Living Center-Green Hill and the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital.

Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law: Reva Jean and Scott Rapier of Greensburg; two brothers: Kenny Wayne Marcum and Jerry Lee Marcum both of Hodgenville; a niece and nephew: Hope Rapier and Wesley Rapier both of Greensburg; a close friend: J.W. Bennett of Greensburg; and a host of other relatives and many other friends.

The funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Dean Adkins will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville. Bro. J.W. Bennett and Bro. Owen Parrish will be officiating.

Visitation is requested from 3 until 8 P.M., Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Friday until time of the funeral service.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Family Burial Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
