George Cowherd Jr

Deacon George R. Cowherd Jr.; 89 of Green County, KY, died on Monday Nov. 14th, 2011. He was the son of the late George R. Sr. and Lucy Wooldridge Cowherd. He was married to Mary Gladys Groves on Jan 18, 1947. She preceded him in death in September 2011. Survivors include a son, Jerry Cowherd of Greensburg, Ky. Funeral was Saturday November 19th at Jocob Grove Baptist church in Summersville, Ky. Burial was in the Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville with military honors. The Revs Henry Nelson and Louis Henry officiated.
