Ethel Mae Beams Rattliff of Summersville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ford Beams and May Cowherd Beams, was born on Tuesday, April 23, 1935 in Taylor County and passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023. She was 88 years, two months, and two days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a dedicated member at Brush Creek Baptist Church. She was employed by Green County schools where she worked in the Lunch room, she also was a machine operator at the Fruit of Loom.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Rattliff on January 31, 2009 having united in marriage on June 11, 1954.
Survivors include special nephews and caregivers: Jerry and wife, Sue Hall and Brad and wife, Monica Hall all of Summersville; a Great-Great nephew: Hagan and wife, Halie Hall of Summersville; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Rattliff was also preceeded in death by one brother: JR Beams; and two sisters: Perry Scott and Juanita Buchanan
The funeral services for Ethel Mae Beams Rattliff will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro Dannie Nelson and Bro. Casey Durrett officiating.
Visitation is requested after 9:30 A.M., Tuesday until time of the funeral service at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the Hosparus of Green River or Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
