Mrs. Estelle Lorene Caven Walker of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Hiram Parrish Caven and Cora Mayme Wright Caven, was born on April 15, 1916 in Green County and departed this life on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg. She was 95 years, six months and 21 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was the oldest member of the Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker.
She united in marriage to Coy E. Walker on June 18, 1930 who preceded her in death on August 13, 1986.
Survivors include two daughters: Naomi Edwards of Gabe Community, and Linda Harlow of Horse Cave; a sister and brother-in-law: Beatrice and Moss Marcum of Columbia; eight grandchildren: Debbie & Eddie Bailey of Gabe Community, Wayne Morris Edwards of Campbellsville, W.T. Graham of Gabe, Ricky Dean & Sherry Edwards of OK, Lorraine & Rich of NC, Lynette Harlow of Glasgow, Leslee & Amy Harlow of Horse Cave, Larissa & Jordan Woodie of Glasgow; 17 great-grandchildren: Melissia & Scott Coffey, Tommy & Heather Bailey, Marcie & Lanny Edwards, Bobby & Beverly Edwards, Cody Edwards, Caleb Bright, Mallory Edwards, Graciela E. Castaon, Micah Castanon, Tiffany Edwards, Jeremy Edwards, John Mark Dolan, Ethan Harlow, Lenna Harlow, Elizabeth Dolan, Eleanor Woodie, and Hudson Woodie; five great-great-grandchildren: Chase Coffey, Maelin Bailey, Gage Edwards and Benjamin Bailey.
Mrs. Walker was also preceded in death by a daughter: Frances E. Graham on October 13, 1976; a grandchild: Danny Wade Edwards on November 13, 1964; and a brother: Elmer Caven.

The funeral services for Mrs. Estelle Lorene Caven Walker will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Greg Whitlow and Bro. Phillip Trent will be officiating.
Visitation is requested from 3 until 8 P.M. Monday, November 07, 2011 at the Cowherd and Parrott funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Tuesday until time of the funeral service.
