Ernest Price

Mr. Ernest Shreve Price of Summersville, Kentucky, son of the late John Price and Mary Ethel Gowen Price, was born on Monday, October 23, 1944 in Green County and passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at his home in Green County. He was 72 years, 9 months, and 30 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summersville Baptist Church. Mr. Price was a lifelong farmer and a former member of the United States Army Reserve.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Sundown and L.P. Clark of Green County and Spring Squires of Summersville; a son and daughter-in-law: Shane and Tori Price of Dry Ridge; five grandchildren: Colton Clark and Caton Clark both of Green County, Meghan Squires of Summersville, Michaela Price and Kimberlyn Price both of Dry Ridge; a sister and brother-in-law: Dean and Billy Barrick of Glasgow; a brother: Robert "Rudy" Price of Glasgow; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral services for Mr. Ernest Shreve Price will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Central Time, Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Greg Whitlow officiating.
Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Friday until time of the funeral service.
The family asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
