Brenda Milby

Brenda Faye Whitlow Milby of Summersville, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Edward “Ed” Whitlow and Odell Pepper Whitlow, was born on Tuesday, July 5, 1949 in Hart County and departed this life on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 peacefully at her home. She was 72 years, 4 months and 4 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Russell Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, had worked at Fruit of the Loom, the LaRue and Green County School Systems and Green Hill Rehab and Nursing Facility. She liked working in her flowers and her garden, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and serving the Lord.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Walter Wayne Milby of Summersville, having united in marriage on July 8, 1967.
Other survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law: Teresa and Jason Russell, Jennifer and Jason Milby, and Kim and Kevin Miller all of Summersville; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Brian Milby and Andy and Alison Milby all of Summersville; ten grandchildren: Bethany and Daniel Judd, Brandon Milby and Sabina Muratovic, Nicholas Russell and his fiancé Skye Moss, Jordan Milby, Amber Milby, Dawson Milby, Billy Akin, Isaiah Milby, Zackery Milby and Cheyanne Milby; four great grandchildren: Lillie Judd, Bentley Milby, Jaxx Milby and Ariell Milby; a sister: Sue Lewis; a sister-in-law: Beverly Whitlow; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Wayne Whitlow.

The funeral services for Brenda Faye Whitlow Milby will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Central time, Friday, November 12, 2021 at the Allendale Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Billy McCrady and Bro. Noah Hensley officiating.
Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central time Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M. until 8 A.M., Friday. Visitation will resume after 9 A.M. Friday at the Allendale Missionary Baptist Church in Allendale until time of the funeral service.
Memorials are suggested to be made to Hosparus of Green River or to the Taylor Regional Cancer Center, which can be made at the funeral home or the church.
